Murt Burner is a Ukrainian contemporary artist based in Kyiv. Emerging from street culture and shaped by a raw independent path, he developed a visual language that moves between control and chaos, elegance and disruption, silence and provocation.
Working primarily in painting, Murt Burner combines figurative minimalism, symbolic imagery, and contemporary visual culture to create works that feel both restrained and emotionally charged. His practice draws from street aesthetics, fashion, desire, status, technology, and the psychology of image.
His work exists in the tension between refinement and rebellion — where luxury meets vandal energy, and beauty carries a trace of danger. Alongside his studio practice, he has collaborated with brands and cultural platforms including New Balance, Anoeses, Fresh Cut Label, and Eromin.
Murt Burner’s works are held in private collections, including those of Léon Marchand, Boris Brejcha, and Monatik.
