This artwork, part of the “Digital Gods: Virtual Religion” collection, explores the blurred boundaries between humanity and technology. The cyborg’s offering of the apple—a direct allusion to the Biblical story of Adam and Eve—symbolizes the modern allure of technological advancements that promise progress while subtly ensnaring humanity in webs of dependency and control. The woman, holding the fruit of digital knowledge, represents society’s fragile relationship with this newfound power, teetering between enlightenment and subjugation.
